Sore TeethHaving braces will make your teeth sore from time to time. Sore, though, should not be equated to pain. Excessive pain should be alerted to the office. You should only need to take Tylenol or Advil/Motrin for discomfort. We do not prescribe any narcotic drugs for orthodontic pain. Soreness should work its way out in a couple of days once initiated. You may want to try chewing a small piece of sugar-free gum or drinking ice water to help with the pain. |
