Doctor InformationDr. Edward Davis was born in Columbia and was raised in West Columbia where he graduated from Airport High School in 1989. He completed his undergraduate education from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Biology. He then finished his dental degree at the Medical University of South Carolina where he earned his D.M.D. He completed a year of advanced dental training at the Graduate Residence Program at Columbia’s Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. He received his orthodontic training at St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education where he was awarded his certificate of Orthodontics and a MS in Oral Biology. Dr. Davis is also one of the few Board Certified Orthodontist practicing in Columbia and Orangeburg. Dr. Davis has been practicing orthodontics since January 2001. He maintains active memberships in many professional organizations and strives to stay up to date with all of the latest advances in orthodontics and dentistry. He is a member of: American Dental Association American Association of Orthodontics American Board of Orthodontics South Carolina Dental Association Southern Association of Orthodontics South Carolina Association of Orthodontics Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation Greater Columbia Dental Society Edisto Dental Society Dr. Davis resides in Springdale, where he was appointed to the Design Review Board for the Town of Springdale. He has also was elected President-Elect for the Orangeburg Rotary Club. He is married to Megan Lang and has been blessed with three wonderful children, Sydney, Jackson and their newest baby, Tucker. Dr. Davis attends St. Peter’s Catholic Church where he sings in the Gallery Choir and occasionally substitutes playing the organ for weekend Masses.
